Instant DreadlocksFor those who cannot handle
the greasy feeling of beeswax or do not have the patience to
wait for months or have very thin hair, now there is a solution!
With the new technique, bulk kinky hair is twisted in a two
strand method with the clients hair forming twists. Over a
shorter period of time, the clients hair starts to lock and
blend with the commercial hair. The two intertwine giving rise
to a fuller lock style. The process takes about 3 to 4 hours to
do and requires 4 to 5 bags of the bulk kinky hair. Maintenance
is low and one can easily style their hair. This is also a great
alternative for those who are undecided about wearing dreadlocks
permanently. You can take out these extensions within two months
and have your own hair back! And for those with relaxed hair,
finally you do not have to wait for your new growth to lock your
hair. You can use this technique on relaxed or permed hair and
achieve the same results. |

Model: Ché
Che was traveling to Europe for a few months and wanted to wear
locks but without the high maintenance it sometimes entails.
With this technique, she can comfortably enjoy her trip without
worrying about where and how to keep it tidy. For maintenance,
she has to moisturize her hair and scalp once a week with some
oil. Reflections by Locafella is an excellent remedy for this |

Model: Rafael
Rafael’s dreadlocks were done using the original technique:
backcombing and applying bees wax. It took 4 hours to create her
beautiful locks and we used Knottyboy beeswax and the Knottyboy
dred comb. For maintenance, she has to palm roll and loop it
whenever needed. The hair does go through the messy phase which
is part of the locking process. During this period, beeswax can
be applied to tame down the frizzies and help bind the hair
together. |

excellent option for someone who is trying to grow out their
hair or even for someone with long hair but desiring a short
hair style. The foundation of this style is a cornrow and all
the client’s hair is woven underneath.

conditioning detangling shampoo and a light oil sheen to keep
the hair from getting tangled and dry.
